Shawarma Empire

Saw some of my friends tweet about this place one day and convinced me that it's a must try, Shawarma Empire and I found out that it's name #4 Best Shawarma in Toronto by blogTO. It 

is located at Lawrence and Pharmacy which is a bit out of our way... but we went nonetheless on a Saturday for Lunch and it was pack, there was a long line up when we arrive but the staff was very quick and efficient, obvious that they are use to big crowd.
It's more a take out placce although there's a few table available... but the smell of food/meat was so strong that we decided to eat in the car instead.

Choice of Chicken and Beef

Instead of a large thin pita, here they use those thicker small pita pocket which they cut out a corner and stuff everything in between and then stuff back the corner to close up the sandwich.
At first, I thought it's smaller than what we usually have but it was so packed that you basically fill full after one sandwich (we bought 4 btw), so you better share the buy one get one free deal with someone.

I was told to ask for extra sauce and I was wondering what sauce? Tahini and Garlic Sauce ??
No, they have an extra sauce on the side, some sort of curry sauce which is super delish.

We both prefer the Chicken better since it's more moist, flavorful and yet sort of crispy =P

The beef was good as well, just not as good as the chicken and it wasn't dry like most places since beef overcook so easily especially it's constantly grilled.

Great Deal & Great Flavor
Will go back quite often, maybe try their Falafel next time =P
