Le Saint Amour (Old Quebec City)

We made reservation in advance and after our long walk here at Old Quebec City, we found ourselves at Le Saint Amour. This restaurant offers contemporary pairing of new flavors with traditional Quebec Favorites by an award winning chef and I've heard that it's a stop for many celebrities.

I was frankly a bit confused about their decor ?!? The cute chandeliers goes well the chairs but a total clash with the water color painted walls and the ceiling hanging plants  (o_O)?

Our Red wine =D

Queues de Castor

Queues de Castor (beaver Tail), it's just must eat each time I'm at Montreal or Quebec
since you there's only 2 location in Toronto which is the Toronto Zoo and CNE which is really not your everyday place to be. So just have to have at least one during my visit here at Old Quebec.
I prefer Beavertails over Funnels cakes a lot more, finding the batter/pastry less sweet yet more flavorful and much less oily.

BeaverTails is a whole wheat pastries that are stretched into the shape of a beaver's tail and float cooked in canola or soya oil. It's made to order and serve piping hot with butter and top with yummy toppings.
I always order either the classic Cinnamon & Sugar or Chocolate & Banana and this time I choose the latter.

♥ it !!! Simple delicious goodness =D

Ice-Cream also available =D

Verdict :
Will never get tired of BeaverTails
♥ hot yummy desserts =P

Evergreen Brick Works (Pt 1 ~ Outdoor)

I have wanted to go to Eveergren Brick Works forever and what better time than this summer where they have Farmer's Market every Saturday. I took so many pictures that this will separate into 3 posts : Outside, Inside & Farmer's Market (My Eats). ♥ this place, I'll definitely go back before end of summer, maybe for their Antique Market on Sundays.

Fresh Lavender, it's just so pretty not to mention smell super good.
Just have to get a bunch from the farmer's market ^v^

Frank Restaurant (Summerlicious #1) - NO GOOD

First stop of Summerlicious at Frank Restaurant (AGO) was really not a good start given that I've half given up on winter/summerlicious. I've had quite a few good experience with "licious" but it seems to be going downhill year after year. I've heard of some great things about Frank and I've been meaning to try it out, so I made my reservation on the first day for AE card holder for 5 person.

Ben and I arrive just on time but 2 of my friends have already arrive while one of us couldn't make it last minute... I arrive with the Maitre d' not finding my reservations while I told her that 2 of my friends have already arrived and she actually ask me to look around for them; then when I finally found them, my friends told me that our table was meant for the 5 of us since there was an extra chair at the end of our 4 seats table when they got there. I just can't believe they accepted my reservation without mentioning that there was only a 4 person table left or did they only realize that they overbooked on that day. My friends already ordered a bottle of wine while waiting but our waiter didn't came over for the whole 10 minutes that we sat down until Ben decided to pour the wine, the waiter from the other section actually saw us and came over to pour it for us.... then our waiter finally came over and ask if we had any question with such a lack of energy and didn't really want to answer the question that I had with the menu. And unlike other restaurant, they didn't have their regular menu available to order at all. Enough of my babbling and more about the food....

Butter w/ Maldon sea salt

3 type of bread, so far so good
