Wine Bar
Being the coupon queen that I am, Once again I got a Groupon for the Wine Bar and I love the decor as soon as I step inside..... I mean what can be better than each dish being pair with it's own wine =D
At the Wine Bar, they gave you a choice of 3oz or 6 oz glass to choose from.
And since all their dishes was tapas style and meant to be share, we also decided to share a glass of 3 oz wine (to save money and to cut back) =P Instead of thinking us as being way too cheap, instead they were so nice that they split the 3oz into 2 glass for us, that's what I call good service.

Nuit Blanche 2011
Basically I will brace the weather for food and fashion but definitely not art... I went to Nuit Blanche two years ago and hated it since it`s so freezing cold and really don`t find it worth freezing my ass off (>~<)
This year I headed down for the Food Truck Eats Part 3 (post coming up but see part 1 here and part 2 here for now) and seeing what I wore that night here, I froze to death while lining up for food.... See what i do for food and fashion =P
We decided to head into one of the events that was at Distillery to warm up and we ♥ it...

UGG weather
It was the 1st weekend of October when I took this pictures and can you believe I already have my UGG out while a week ago, I feel like I could still get a tan...
We venture out to Distillery for Food Truck Eat Part 3 on Nuit Blanche and it was freezing cold... why didn't I wear a thicker jacket?!? Because I want my leopard print crop sweater to show... but my jacket end up being zip up the entire night after these photos

Table 17 (Brunch)
This is my 3rd visit to Table 17, first 2 times was for dinner here and here but this time it's for Brunch. Have been meaning to use the FabFind coupon but it was worth $50 which we won't be able to finish up on Brunch just the 2 of us... then finally I got to invite a girlfriend along.
I didn't even need to look at their menu since I knew what I wanted already and there was only one left (so happy) =D It gets packed pretty fast, so make sure to go early.

I had my eyes on this for a while and I was lucky enough to get their last one (^_^)
Love every element of this dish, just look at how pretty the egg yolk look.

Relaxed Ballerinas
Relaxed Ballerinas, that my idea of what a ballerina would wear on their day off... heh even a ballerina can't wear bodysuit everyday, right?!?

Simple Bistro
This time Ben made reservation to Simple Bistro through Dining Date Night where I blog about here, basically make a reservation through their website, pay $10 and get 30% off entire meal including alcohol. Last time at Union here, we saved quite a bit but this time around, last minutes a friends ask us out for drink after dinner... so we end up not opening our usual bottle of wine and I order a glass instead and Ben decided to skip (>_<)
Simple Bistro have a fairly simple short seasonal menu, with appetizer, main and dessert.
Escargot w/ bacon & Mushroom
This was really delicious but the escargot itself was a bit small and extremely soft in texture.
The cheese creamy sauce was so good that you would find yourself cleaning the plate with bread =P
Foie Gras Parfait
This was quite creamy yet still a bit chunky which I like but I find the top layer (white / fat) rather hard and difficult to cut and spread on the extremely crunchy crisp that it`s served with. The crisp was rather dry, want-to-cut-your mouth-dry and I would have much prefer some toast instead.
