megalomaniac & Tawse (Niagara-on-the-Lake ~ Pt 5)

After a night of good rest after all the wine and food here, here, here and here; took my dad for a quick tour of Niagara Falls, then it's time to head back home. On our way home, we have to stop by my recent favorite winery : megalomaniac. This is a relatively new winery and I first tried it at a restaurant in Toronto but couldn't find it in LCBO, only recently they started to have 2 available which is simply name White (which is a Riesling that I love) and Red (not a big fan).

Their winery are very simply and hidden, you will definitely not be able to see it when driving by unless you see their small roadside sign (>_<)
It's a relatively small winery compare to the previous ones we visited the previous day but love their simple design and the building sort of blend in the small hilltop there (^v^)

Love the bird's eye view of the estate

After tasting most of their wine, I decided on a 2007 Cabernet Franc Reserve which I love and need to go back to get more

Right across the street was Tawse Winery and this is really our final stop. This is probably dad favorite since they have really dry and bold flavor red that he love.

Although we didn't like the red as much as my dad, we did felt in love with their white, we bought a bottle of this Chardonnay

We end up buying 15 Bottles of Wine on this trip =P
