Feeling unsatisfied after our dinner at Sotto Voce here, we walk around feeling lost... expecting a warm comforting meal (aka pasta = comfort food for me) and not getting that make me feel not complete and empty =(
Then we pass by The Big Chill which we have pass by a few times before when having dinner around the area and would smell the sweet buttery taste of their waffle, but never went in since we were always so full from our dinner.... so without hesitation we went in this time =P
So many choices ^_^
End up sharing a waffle cone with Ben ~ Watermelon (my choice) and Peanut Butter Chocolate something (his choice) and top with a mini Oreo was a cute finishing touch especially for kids (^_^)
Love the Watermelon but sort of wish it didn't have those small round cookies in it which was suppose to be the seeds.. would have prefer to get a smooth fruity sorbet without needing to chew (no choke) the tiny cookies...
Ok, anything with Peanut Butter and Chocolate in it is good =P
They were having special of $1 Regular Hot Chocolate & $2 for Special Flavour and I just can't resist to order one of their Spicy Hot Chocolate. It end up just being Cayenne powder added to it... should have just order the Regular and I could have got 2 cup instead =P
Oh and I love their cute paper cup >_<
Verdict:
Good old fashion ice-cream bar in a 60's decor
The actual cone was as fresh, crispy and buttery as the smell that surround you
I know what you mean...its such a downer after an unsatisfied dinner that you just GOTTA eat something GOOD to make up for it (or else it ruins your whole night). I'm glad you found ice cream! Hot chocolate for a buck is a steal =)
