Coco Lezzone

After our un-satisfying Italian dinner here last month, we went to another more trusted Italian restaurant the first opportunity we got. I heard really good thing about Coco Lezzone and was betting on a satisfying meal.

Started with some bread and wine
(btw, I don't know what make him order this bottle but it was very very terrible)

Bruschetta
Toasted Italian Bread with tomato, basil, garlic and parmigiano cheese
Really good combination of flavour and the drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette.

Octopus
Grilled Moroccan octopus with mixed peppers, arugula and capers in a red wine vinagrette
~ taste as good as it looks. I was really surprise of the large portion, I could easily just have this as a light dinner.

Mushroom Risotto
Wild Mushroom, parmigiano cheese and white truffle oil
This is what I call a risotto not the one I ate at Sotto Voce which was basically ugly.
Tons of mushroom, right amount of truffle flavour and risotto cook just right.

Tagliatelle
Double smoked bacon, wild mushroom and fresh arugula in a light cream sauce.
Really really good, love how flavorful it is even with the light cream sauce and the real star was the smoke bacon

His espresso and my Raspberry Gelati

The decor and service was really friendly.
Our glass wine was never left empty, great service
